Claims Frequency Ratio

Claims Frequency Ratio

The claims frequency ratio refers to the number of claims made divided by the number of policies in force, expressed as a percentage. It indicates how often claims are made during a given period. For example, if 10 out of 100 policyholders make a claim, the claims frequency ratio would be 10%. See also: Loss Ratio
